Tunnelier

Tunnelier is an Secure Shell and Secure File Transfer Protocol client for Windows which incorporates the following tools:

• Graphical SFTP client,
• Terminal emulator,
• Advanced, scriptable command-line SFTP client,
• Scriptable command-line remote execution client (sexec) and a command-line terminal emulation client (stermc);
• FTP-to-SFTP bridge allowing connection to an SFTP server using legacy FTP applications;
• WinSSHD remote administration features;
• Remote Desktop forwarding

This does not come under any of the headings on my site, but I use VMWare and this is an ideal client for secure encrypted transfer of my files between my Windows XP SP2 host and my VMWare Fedora Core build.  It saves me opening samba up on my Linux VM Image and the problems encountered with that i.e. brute force attacks.  The fact that all traffic is encrypted is also another bonus. I have used Putty for man a year but this Tunnelier is a lot more useful.
